Go deeper with God

We grow deeper with God through our daily rhythms of prayer and Scripture.

We hope these resources will help you grow with God.

‘Pray Daily’ Guide

Prayer is our lifeline to God, our relationship with Him lived out, and our fuel for serving Him each day. To live for God in a secular context, Daniel prayed ‘three times a day’; Jesus regularly withdrew to pray before daybreak; and over the centuries, many Christians have practised morning and evening prayer.

‘Pray Daily’ is a guide to foster daily rhythms of morning and evening prayer, by drawing on the riches of the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

The first great and primary business to which I ought to attend every day was to have my soul happy in the Lord.

Bible bite emails

The writer of Psalm 119 says that he has ‘hidden God’s word in his heart’. Developing healthy rhythms of daily Bible reading can be challenging, but there are great daily Bible reading resources from The Good Book Company and Matthias Media, as well as Bible apps like the ESV app.

One way that St Luke’s tries to help you go deeper with God is through our tri-weekly 'Bible bite' emails - a short Bible reading with questions, and the occasional quote to reflect upon - all in step with our Sunday program.
